va7400 Windows 2003 cluster

We have a VA7400/FC16 switch being used on several L2000's and some Novell boxes. We run secure manager as well. I have been asked to setup a Windows 2003 Cluster on a lun. Is there any documentation on how to setup the custer service to work with the VA7400/FC16
thanks

Perhaps this thread:

Can't find a lot of doc on the VA7400

Is that the exact model number?

Re: va7400 Windows 2003 cluster

This doc might help.

What I think you might want to do is create a cifs/9000 server share and let the windows 2003 server connect to that.

Samba cifs/9000 can be failed over between serviceguard nodes.

Is that what you are after?

Re: va7400 Windows 2003 cluster

actually it turned out to be very simple. After installing Emulux 950 HBA's in the Dell Servers and cabling to fc16 I ran the emulux lp6dutil to find out the www addresses. Then from HP CVSDM I created a new lun, and used secure manager to assign it to the 2 HBA www addesses from above. From windows 2003 serverI installed the Emulex miniport driver and rebooted. Went into disk admin and there was the new lun ready to go. Partitioned and formatted ok. Then its just a matter of following the docs for a standard cluster setup (Dell document - Preparing Your Systems for Clustering) Tony
