Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2 breaks HyperTerminal PE
I just confirmed on 4 systems (DL360 and 380)that Windows 2003 SP2 breaks HyperTerminal Private Edition. Thought it was maybe Proliant Support Pack 7.8 with it's new ATI display drivers, as I installed that in close proximity, but tests show it's just SP2 doing it. Be warned! HyperTerminal will load and appear to work, but upon connect you get nothing back on screen. Just a blinking cursor. Funny thing is, the keyboard is still passing data to the remote host. Thanks Microsoft!

Re: Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2 breaks HyperTerminal PE
Was HyperTerm Private Edition not supposed to be used in a home-environment?
With 4 proliant servers i doubt if thats's the case...
Though offcourse you may complain about the thechnical issue.

(I don't think i'll get any points for that...)
