X400 over X.25 on Exchange 2003
We are currently in Exchange 5.5/Exchange 2003 Mixed Mode. Our final 5.5 server (NT4 Server SP6a) houses an x.25 card and is configured using x400 to an external source. The x.25 card is an Eicon S51 (EISA). This works fine in 5.5.
I've recreated the exact same setup in Exchange 2003 SP1 (Windows 2003) using an Eicon S91 V2 (PCI). Eicon assure me this is identical to the S51 and is fully compatible with 2003.
Problem is - when everything is configured to route through the x400 connectors on the 2003 box, messages stick in the outbound queue and finally rest in the unreachable destination queue.
Is this an issue with Windows 2003? Tighter security etc? Please help.
Go easy with me as I know very little about x.25 or x400.
Thanks.

Re: X400 over X.25 on Exchange 2003
If x400 messages stick inside the waitingqueue, it does not neccesarely mean that your Eicon card is failing. Maybe it works just fine.
First make sure that the definitions of the Adjecent MTA (host to which you want to send the mail to) is set up correctly.
Only when your absolutely sure the application settings are the same and the remote host did not change, then you can look to the next step.
What stack did you load? Are you using ISOSTACK for the communication between the application and the X.25 card? Make sure that is the same as well.
The next step is to look to your card
