Query about CA XP - can use different multipath software in two different site.
Team,
One of my client using HP XP SAN array in Production & DR site. Client is planning to use Continuous Access service for data replication services.
Currently in one of the server running Linux Operating System along with multipath software - EMC PowerPath unfortunately.
My question - In the DR site standby server can we run Linux Operating system with Native multipath software or HP Securepath?
Thanks, Ayyappan

Re: Query about CA XP - can use different multipath software in two different site.
Hi Ayyappan,
XP CA is an storage based replication solution and doesnt affect the operating system or the multipath sw.
So I see no reason why you should not use decribed way.
MPIO is probably the most common method.
Have a look at SPOCK which combination is supported for your environment with your XP for your OS.
As mentioned CA is indepent
