Apache-SSL certificate creation problem

Hello,

I am trying to use Apache 1.3.24 + mod_ssl 2.8.8 + OpenSSL 0.96c on HP-UX 11.0.
I can build the modules successfully. But when I issue 'make certificate' for Apache, it creates problem. If RSA algo. is choosen, then the process continues forever and if it is DSA, it (openssl) dumps core.
Please help.
