Hi,
I have a server with /var/stm/logs/sys
growing fast. Inside the log I only see some useless message
`$/var/stm/data/uut_status0`$/var/stm/data/uut_status0`$/var/stm/data/uut_status0`$/var/stm/data/uut_status0`$/var/stm/data/uut_status0`$/var/stm/data/uut_status0`$/var/stm/data/uut_status0`$/var/stm/data/uut_status0`$/var/stm/data/uut_status0`$/var/stm/data/uut_status0
Is there any patches for stm? Where can I download the stm related patches?

Hi,
The latest patches are as follows:
10.20 PHSS_23654
11.00 PHSS_26944
11.11 PHSS_26417 (11i)
http://us-support2.external.hp.com/common/bin/doc.pl/distrib_redir=1+985580381|*
Select individual patches, you will then be prompted to login. Select HP-UX and follow the prompts or simply type in the patch numbers.

Re: /var/stm/logs/sys/activity_log
Restarting diagnostics usually get rid of this messages. I do not know what causes it, as I can recall installing the latest STM related patches should help too. Do this and then monitor if the messages do come back ..
# /etc/opt/resmon/lbin/monconfig
==> select "K" to kill the monitor process
# /sbin/init.d/diagnostic stop
# /sbin/init.d/diagnostic start
==> retart diagnostics
# /etc/opt/resmon/lbin/monconfig
==> select "E" to enable it back
# /etc/opt/resmon/lbin/monconfig
==> select "K" to kill the monitor process
# /sbin/init.d/diagnostic stop
# /sbin/init.d/diagnostic start
==> retart diagnostics
# /etc/opt/resmon/lbin/monconfig
==> select "E" to enable it back
