SSD on e3000?
Hi,
Is there enough bus connectivity in the e3000 to install an SSD on the server? There are SSD drives that can link up via IDE and I've found a SCSI to IDE converter.

Re: SSD on e3000?
if this is really a HP3000 server, this sounds like the most crazy tuning idea ...
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: SSD on e3000?
Disk drives are the number 1 liability on e3000s. The server has had a solid state solution long ago (third party, 1980s). Asking for colleagues who have production-grade 3000s.
