HP Data Protector Express & Compaq 20/40 DLT4000 support
I know this is an old tape drive but in teh lab its OK for our practice network.
I have installed a licenced copy of Data Protector Express Ver 3.10 SP3 onto my old Proliant 1600 running W2K3 Server SP2 and in attempting to run a backup to the tape I get an error 1406 - unsupported device.
I suspect the tape drive is not supported by Data Protector Express (although it is OK in Windows) so is there a driver available to download to make this combination work?

Re: HP Data Protector Express & Compaq 20/40 DLT4000 support
Sorry to take so long responding to your query. I'm also sorry but we do not have any drivers for the DLT4000 available.
