Easily watch on-demand Discover storage sessions
I'm a huge fan of not putting educational vendor content behind a "gives us your firstborn" registration site. So I have some fantastic news to share with you. The team has put the best of HPE Storage Discover Virtual Experience on a web site that is easy to access.
There are 20 storage sessions that are available on-demand. They range from high-level strategy (like the storage spotlight session) to getting into the details of product offerings like HPE Primera, HPE SimpliVity, and HPE Nimble Storage.
I haven't been able to watch all the sessions myself but I do know most of the presenters, so I wanted to call out a few of the sessions that I highly recommend. Like I said, there are 20 of them so you MUST visit the site to browse the sessions and find the ones that are topics that you're interested in. The hyperlinks that I'm giving you will take you directly to that video:
- Storage Spotlight, HPE Storage Strategy and Vision - using data to power transformation. I watched this session live - I think it's a don't miss session if you're interested in storage. You'll get a great understanding about where HPE Storage is headed. If you haven't watched my Chalk Talks or heard my podcast about the Intelligent Data Platform, Sandeep Singh has a 20 minute session that packs in a lot of details.
- HPE InfoSight: Transform how infrastructure is managed and supported with Intelligent Storage. If you don't know HPE InfoSight this session includes a demo showing it in action. I keep saying that HPE InfoSight is like pixie dust for your infrastructure. There's another session on InfoSight from Rochna Dhand, Senior Director of Product Management for the HPE InfoSight team, and she is who I turn to when I want a top notch InfoSight presenter.
- Check out the demo session of HPE Nimble Storage - effortless, intelligent storage for hybrid cloud. Chuck Roman, who I've known for years and have done a few videos with, leads the demo along with product manager Rich Joos.
- Dianne Gonzalez is another rock star presenter who is a Principal Tech Marketing Engineer on our storage team focused on HPE Cloud Volumes. She has a couple of sessions. First is the Introduction of HPE Cloud Volumes Backup. The other session Unlock the potential of hybrid cloud with HPE Cloud Volumes.is a short 11 minute session that gives a great intro to Cloud Volumes.
- Check out HPE Nimble Storage dHCI in a great session with a demo that ATSB bloggers Nick Dyer and Fred Gagne presented. It is a short and sweet 9 minute session.
- I've known Phill Gilbert for a while and Phill has a 21 minute session looking at HPE Primera. Hopefully the British accent isn't too distracting. Ha!
- And I have to include HPE SimpliVity in my recommendations. The session Experience how HPE SimpliVity HCI can simplify and transform edge-to-cloud is one I watched, and it has a really good demo.
Check out all of the Discover storage sessions!
I've only mentioned only half of the sessions so be sure to go to our hpe.com page where you can check out all of the Discover Virtual Experience videos, without having to give up your first born or email address!
