Windows Server 2008 End of Support

On January 14, 2020, Microsoft ended support for Windows Server 2008. Organisations still running this operating system (OS), now find themselves with no more free support from Microsoft, no more security updates or patches, and no more feature updates. Unfortunately, this can leave them exposed to major vulnerabilities to cybersecurity attacks, force them to pay for ongoing support (if this option is even available), and can lead to mounting operational expenses.
