Hewlett Packard Enterprise has announced enhancements to HPE Ezmeral Software that strengthens their lead in analytics and AI across hybrid and multicloud deployments. Designed for hybrid from the beginning, HPE Ezmeral Software delivers an optimized solution for data analytics, AI, and machine learning along with cloud native technologies that enable workload and data placement wherever it makes the most sense for businesses.

HPE Ezmeral Data Fabric Software

The first step to dependable insights from analytics, AI, and machine learning models is a single source of data truth. HPE Ezmeral Data Fabric Software delivers this capability by combining files, objects, and streaming data into a data plane that spans across hybrid and cloud platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS).

New enhancements to the data fabric include the addition of binary table support to provide high performance query capabilities across large volumes of data to a new range of applications. HPE Ezmeral Software continues to expand its data universe with support for Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) and Network File System (NFS) stores to be managed, secured and governed by HPE Ezmeral Data Fabric.

HPE Ezmeral Unified Analytics Software

HPE Ezmeral Unified Analytics Software overlays on top of this foundational data layer with an open, extensible platform that accelerates building, developing, deploying and monitoring analytics and AI applications across hybrid multicloud deployments.

This comprehensive solution comes with a managed ecosystem of the most popular open source tools, such as Apache Airflow, Spark, Superset, Presto SQL and Ray, as well as connectors to popular business and analytic data sources such as Snowflake, MySQL and Delta Lake along with common structured sources like Oracle, and unstructured storage such as Amazon S3 and MinIO. As your business needs change, organizations can also import Helm-based third-party and custom applications showcasing the extensibility of HPE Ezmeral Unified Analytics.

Other new enhancements include GPU accelerated innovation with automated node expansion and reclamation, performance and data drift monitoring that include centralized alerting into Prometheus, and notebooks with connections to data sources to bolster security and resolve a significant pain point for analytics and AI professionals.

HPE Ezmeral Unified Analytics complements proprietary cloud analytic offerings with our extensible open source-based platform, now deployable across cloud providers, including AWS. This capability delivers flexibility for analytics and AI professionals to develop, train, deploy, and monitor analytics where it best meets the needs of the business.  For example, HPE can take the output of AWS services, re-train them on-premises, and deploy them out at the edge.

Todayโ€™s announcement is another example of how HPE and AWS are working together to help organizations traverse the need for hybrid operations while optimizing their cloud experience, everywhere.
