Updating OneView appliance and OneView for SCOM

Hi all,

I need to update my OneView from v5.00.00-0400525 to the latest veriosn.
What is the new version for OneView...the new August release shows 6.00.01 but the July release shows 6.2...how does that work?

Can i go directly from v5 to v 6.xx or do i have to do a couple of hops in between ?

Also need to update the OneView version installed in my SCOM as well.

The one i have just downloaded is:
HPE_OneView_for_Microsoft_System_Center_10.0_ZIP_March_2021_Z7550-03610

Do i just run the new Master Installer in SCOM and let it run or is there some tweaks that need to be done prior to update/install?

About the releases and versions.
The 6.0 original release was in March-2021
6.2 was released in July-2021
6.00.01 is an update on 6.0 (which is replacing 6.0) was released in Aug-2021

The shortest upgrade path from 5.00.xx will be:
5.0 to 5.3
5.3 to 5.4
5.4 to 6.00.01
If you want to upgrade to 6.2, you can hop from 6.00.01 to 6.2.

You can follow the standard update procedures for OneView in SCOM as well

The latest SCOM Kit is 10.0, so you don't need to update that.  There will probably be a new SCOM Kit coming soon, but you can wait till that's out to update.  Just focus on the OneView for now. Since it's an upgrade of OneView (and assuming IP, FQDN, and passowords stay the same) the SCOM management pack should pick it up automatically.

If you wait until next week, you can go from OneView 6.0 => 6.3
