force umount of NFS-mounted cdrom

Hello. I'm wondering if it is possible to force a(n) umount of an NFS-mounted CD-ROM in HP-UX 11.

Apparently, the destination computer no longer has the CD in the machine.

When I try to unmount the filesystem, I receive:
nfs umount: nfs_unmount: /cdrom: is busy

Commands like "fuser" hang, and manually editing /etc/mnttab (a definite no-no) won't work, since "sync" will restore the entry.

Any ideas short of rebooting?

Thanks!

Brandon,
In this situation you may have the only option of rebooting the server.
Probably u placing the cd in the drive again and try restating the nfs client. However I wont bet on this .
If anyone knows any other trick I would like to know as well.

Cheers
