LDAP Server on HP-UX 11.00

[HPP]

Hi,
Does HP provide software for LDAP Server on HP-UX 11.00? If so please provide me how to go about it OR links to where i can find Document to install and configure LDAP server on HP-UX 11.00.
I installed openldap and tried to configure LDAP server, but i was not able to. I was not able to find how to configure ldap.conf and start LDAP services, it only says how to configure sldap.conf.

Help please.......

The file you are looking for slapd.conf should be in /usr/local/etc/openldap/

sldap is the main server daemon for LDAP, so this is the file that you should be configuring for LDAP. I don't believe HP has an LDAP server of its own, but it does have a client, which you can use to talk to an LDAP server, such as Netscape's Directory Server, Windows Active Directory or OpenLDAP, and also can be configured as a gateway to NIS.

Do u have HP application CD's with u, where u can find Netscape Directory server 4.x. on the 4 the CD.

After installing u have to enable DNS and NIS server name, n DNS resolution. (both should have a common name) This is pretty a straing forward installtion .....

We installed netscapes verison of LDAP on HPUX 11.00

It is working well.
