Create a dazzling Wi-Fi experience for your customers: Everything you need in one bundle
HPE’s newly expanded networking solutions for small business make it easier for SMBs to impress and delight today’s tech-savvy customers.
An intense focus on customers’ needs and preferences has always been an important driver of success for small and midsize companies, and the “customer-centric” movement has reinforced that focus for many years now. But it’s only in the last few years that we’ve seen a strong emphasis on customer experience (CX) as a crucial discipline for fast-growing companies.
CX thinking impacts many areas of the organization, including the technology interface with customers, and especially the interface at physical locations. Today’s customers are very tech savvy. They expect to be able to use their phones and tablets for everything—and they expect your employees and service providers to be able to do the same. Here are just a few examples of what they expect:
- Fast, reliable and secure (and free) Wi-Fi access they can use while waiting or shopping at your location
- App-enabled services like check-in, ordering, paying, and checking account details while at your location—right from their phone
- Account information that’s accessible to sales associates at the point of sale.
In addition, depending on what industry you’re in, you may have special requirements for your customers and service people – for example, health service organizations may want the ability to pull up the latest medical records, securely, in the exam room.
HPE SMB network solutions: a simplified route to superior CX
It all comes down to providing fast, reliable, and secure Wi-Fi access in your office, store, or restaurant. Of course, that’s easier said than done. Selecting, validating, configuring, deploying, managing, and supporting IT solutions isn’t usually a simple matter, especially if you have tight budgets and limited in-house IT skills.
But HPE is working to change that. We’re levelling the playing field for small to midsized businesses with SMB network solutions that deliver outstanding CX.
We’ve recently updated and expanded our HPE Small Business Solutions for Small Office Deployment. These are validated solution bundles that include everything you need for on-site Wi-Fi, along with HPE deployment, management, and support simplicity. They bring together the performance, ease of management, reliability, and security of HPE ProLiant Gen10 servers; reliable, cost-efficient HPE StoreEasy storage (for certain configurations); Aruba wireless access points (WAPs) with smart management tools; and HPE Foundation Care, for your peace of mind.
You can now choose from two configurations, depending on how many users and devices you need to support.
For up to 25 users (2 devices per user), this basic configuration is the ultimate in simplicity and speed for single sites:
- HPE ProLiant ML30 Gen10 Server
- HPE OfficeConnect 1920s switch
- 2 x Aruba Instant On AP12 WAP
- 1 x HPE RDX Removable Disk Backup System
For up to 100 users (2 devices per user), this configuration provides greater flexibility and features for one or more sites, with expanded storage to help you protect valuable digital assets:
- HPE ProLiant DL20 Gen10 Server
- HPE StoreEasy 1460 storage
- 1 x Aruba Instant On AP15 WAP
- 4 x Aruba Instant On AP12 WAP
- 2 x Aruba 2530 48 port (24 PoE) switches
The above configurations are the foundation for special pricing and the starting point for building a solution configuration. Of course, you can always opt to expand the capabilities by adding recommended options and HPE value-added services for an optimal experience. And both choices are hybrid cloud ready, giving you the option to back up data on- or off-premises with cloud services from Microsoft Azure or a managed services provider.
