Craft your financial path to HPE GreenLake with HPE Financial Services: A podcast overview
HPE Financial Services makes it even easier to achieve the financial and business benefits of HPE GreenLake edge-to-cloud platform.
I met with HPE podcaster Calvin Zito to talk about our asset management and IT financial services. Check out our conversation in the Around the IT Block podcast above.
If youโre a regular visitor to this blog, you know about the financial benefits that businesses can gain from the HPE GreenLake edge-to-cloud platform โ for, example, how it reduces over-provisioning of IT assets, and how the pay-per-use approach eliminates the need for the large upfront expenditures that are typical of traditional IT procurement models.1 (See: What is HPE GreenLake?) But you might not be aware of how HPE Financial Services can accelerate your journey to the HPE GreenLake platform, making it even easier to achieve these benefits.
As the financial engineers for HPE GreenLake platform, we provide the financing for the IT infrastructure assets that are deployed to your location under our as-a-service model. We help you free up cash to do more without spending more. We work closely with the HPE GreenLake account team to ensure that we understand your goals for your digital transformation journey and determine how we can best help you, whatever financial and business models youโre operating.
I met with HPE podcaster Calvin Zito to explore some of the ways that HPE Financial Services helps businesses craft a migration path to HPE GreenLake cloud services. Here are three of the key benefits that we talked about:
1. Create โinvestment capacityโ for your digital transformation. We help you build the financial capabilities for new infrastructure, wherever itโs located: at the edge, in your data center or in a colocation environment. (See: What is digital transformation?)
2. Monetize the investments youโve already made in IT infrastructure. If youโre running workloads on newer equipment, you may not need to replace or upgrade it. You can simply migrate that existing infrastructure into your new HPE GreenLake platform contract, allowing you to consolidate your multi-gen IT environment into a single infrastructure. Weโll give you cold hard cash for the assets, and because the equipment stays in place, you avoid any potential for disruption.
Companies moving to HPE GreenLake platform are often looking to modernize legacy IT systems. If thatโs the case, we can decommission and remove those assets from your environment, monetize the remaining value and return it to you by upcycling those assets back into the Circular Economy. And itโs not just HPE systems โ we can process equipment from Cisco, IBM, Dell, and pretty much any IT vendor. This can help you meet your sustainability goals, as well as your financial goals. Last year alone, we infused nearly $500M back into customersโ budgets, helping them create more investment capacity to do more with the dollars they have.
3. Leverage pre-owned technology to keep tech in use longer and lower your costs. HPE-certified pre-owned hardware can be a great alternative to new equipment. From subassemblies, to feature upgrades, to whole systems, this portfolio of data center equipment is available โoff the shelfโ or custom-configured to meet almost any budget or circumstance.
