ISG Provider Lens recognizes HPE Managed Services as a leader in hybrid cloud management
The analyst firmโs latest report awarded HPE Managed Services its ISG Star of Excellence rating, noting that our managed cloud portfolio is well aligned to meet the specific on-premises requirements of clients.
By Steve Richardson, Digital Marketing Manager for HPE Managed Services
Once again, HPE Managed Services has been recognized by the ISG Provider Lens as a leader in providing management services for customersโ hybrid environments (pubic cloud, private cloud, and traditional IT). This report uses research and analysis from ISGโs long-running work with enterprise clients and BPO services providers to identify and examine key changes in, approaches for, and buyers of private/hybrid cloud and data center services.
With the growing demand for hybrid cloud solutions, managing IT infrastructure environments has become more complex. Businesses are considering outsourcing these operations to service providers with significant expertise in managing hybrid cloud infrastructure for enterprises across various industries.
ISG analysed HPE Managed Services with respect to the following criteria:
- Provide structure and control for ongoing infrastructure operations generally involving hardware, software and networking in physical and virtual environments
- Adhere to standard operational SLAs, which are tactical
- Focus on remote service design and delivery, mainly to reduce operational costs
- Experience in legacy mainframes management.
- Improve security features within the clientโs IT estate with a future outlook of protection from cyberattacks.
The report notes that:
โHPE offers remote operations for cloud infrastructure management services from one of its 10 IT Operations centers across the globe. The provider leverages the benefits of scale for improved service quality and efficiency. Its managed cloud portfolio is well aligned to meet the specific on-premises requirements of its clients. In addition, HPEโs managed services include monitoring, orchestration and optimization for all infrastructure and applications. With 10 years of successful cloud migrations, HPE has the depth and breadth of technologies and experience required to help clients in evolving their enterprise IT architecture and operating models to a hybrid cloud environment.โ
