not refresh finder in Mac X client to Windows Storage Server 2003

We have DL380 Storage Windows Server 2003 and we shared Folder for Apple Talk. In our company have Windows, Mac 9 and 10 (old chip and new Intel based chip) PCs, there're 02 situations:
1. DL380 in Workgroup, when we create new Folder/file, all Windows PCs will refresh automaticaly (see new folder/file immediately), all Mac 9 clients are also good (slow than Windows). All Mac X clients (for Intel based chip) are ok BUT (for Mototola chip) DON'T REFRESH FINDER AUTOMATICALLY, don't see new Folder/File.
2. It's the same in the domain.

Could you explain me? thank you

Tran:

Access is slow because you are using AppleTalk. On OS X, this isn't required but for OS 9 it is. Some solutions are:

on the client: Dave (http://www.thursby.com/).

on the server: ExtremeZ-IP (http://www.grouplogic.com/products/extreme/overview.cfm)

SMB/CIFS may be faster.

I'm not sure why refresh isn't working but another problem to check for is if Digitally Signed Communication is enabled on the Win server. Try disabling it and seeing if this fixes the problem. To do so:

In the Start menu
Administrative Tools->Domain Controller Policy->Security Settings->Local Policies-> Security Options

Here you will find:

Microsoft network server: Digitally sign communications (always) set to enabled. Set it to disabled and see if this corrects the problem. A patch is supposed to be released to fix this but until then disable.

I wonder if your Macs get disconnected and hence fail to show the update. Unless bandwidth is a major issue, turn off auto-disconnect (or set to a high value) on the WinServer if nothing else has worked. On the Win2k3 box:

net config server /autodisconnect:-1

to turn it off. Microsoft has a caution regarding this though so another value may be required. See http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;297684

Plus, are you using Virex? If all else has failed to work, set it to exclude specific disks, files, and folders. Specifically, exclude the disk /Volumes on the Mac in question.

Running Win2k3 SP1? See this:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;897718

Good luck.
