How to Reset the XenServer Console

To reset the console, complete the following steps:

1. Connect to the host using the host’s management IP address from an SSH client.

2. Run the following command:
   # ps -ef | grep dom0term.sh | grep -v grep

3. The first number from the left is the process ID of the VNC session that needs to be reset. Run the following command:
   # kill <process ID from step 2>

4. Restart XenCenter.
