You should check with your software vendor if your software has trouble recognizing the second drive. All optical products will always report the inquiry response from the major family member (in this case the C1100F), and not the specific model you have configured. Any correctly written software should still recognize this as a 2-drive unit based on the element addressing response it can obtain from the unit.
While there have been cases where these values have been changed to reflect the model number that you would order this library configuration under (C1115F), this usually results in major support problems, as most software would not recognize this response, and is not officially supported that way.
