HPE Discover 2022: Check out the OEM sessions on sustainability awareness at the event

Now more than ever, being a force for good is also a source of business value—continuous innovation, increased profitability, and accelerated global impact. Therefore, today more & more businesses are implementing social responsibility initiatives to ensure company’s long-term success. In our previous blogs, you have already read about our efforts toward sustainability awareness in the form of the HPE OEM Solutions Social Responsibility Campaign, which demonstrate our commitment to tackling environmental challenges, & engages our greater HPE OEM community to help the people and the planet. As sustainability awareness is on the rise on corporate and IT agendas, HPE has decided to focus on promoting environmental consciousness at the HPE Discover 2022.

The HPE OEM Social Responsibility Campaign was another important environmental awareness session showcased at HPE Discover 2022. As we all have a part to play in tackling environmental challenges and building a more inclusive society, we believe that social responsibility isn’t just about creating a better planet; it’s also about building a better business. The HPE OEM Social Responsibility year-long program aims to drive awareness and involvement in Socially Responsible initiatives and has been mobilized around four key areas that need our attention—Deforestation, Oceans and Water, Poverty and Homelessness, and Healthcare.

We also had a few other sessions. One of them was on how data advances sustainability and impacts businesses. Business and IT managers need more data so they turn insights into action and impact their companies’ sustainability initiatives. What if they could track energy consumption and carbon emissions across their data center infrastructure? This session demonstrated how HPE is exploring ways to provide the next level of granularity that will enable impactful decision-making that saves time, money and resources in real-time—and at scale.
