Im' using hpvm 3.5.
I connected to the "Host's" lanconsole an then connected to the guest's virtual console using hpvmconsole command.
Now when I execute CTRL/B and the X to disconnect from virtual console actually I'm disconcting from Host's lanconsole.
If I connect to lanconsole again, I'll be connect to hpvmconsole.
Any idea?

Re: can't disconnet from hpvmconsole.
I stuck myself a number of times on this. Do not use hpvmconsole from your VM Host's console because.

Re: can't disconnet from hpvmconsole.
But this problem happened before configuring the host's lan access, so I had to hard reset the host to kill hpvm processes.

Re: can't disconnet from hpvmconsole.
1 - get VM host completely working, lan and all.
2 - telnet to VMHost to execute all remaining VMGuest builds ( or at least anything that would require hpvmconsole to be used )

Solution"To return to the physical console, use control-B.
To return to the virtual console main menu, use Ctrl/X."
If you are working on the "real" console and connect to the hpvmconsole, CTRL B will take you to the "real" MP, CTRL X will take you to the virtual MP - followed by "x" will end the session on the virtual MP and bring you back to the VMHost.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
