Even without a great deal of HPVM experience this looks like an error of the following types:

1) The Network card is already in use on a different machine
2) The network card is failed.

Your networking choice is important here. The connection needs to be configured so it can be shared, or one system will use it and the others will be denied access.

I am not able to connect to the machine from its IP.

I am accessing the (guest)server from its host.

I can self ping
I cannot ping its gateway

Yes I read that.

As I said it is a clone and migrated from one host to another host.
Both the hosts are in same subnet

on destination host, I did hpvmremove

then I migrated again

after migration i started the guest.

still same is the case.

Neither source host nor destination host
