Need Help

Hi

I m new in HP UX . I want to check which version of Opearating system is installed . For example ...whether it is Mission Critical OS or enterprise Os ..i used uname -r , uname -s etc ..but it is not showing the result what i want. Plz help

Execute swlist.
If it ain't broke, I can fix that.

Hi i used swlist .. It is not showing whether it is Mission crtical or entreprise

You're actually looking for the Operating Environment that's installed, not the OS version. This should display what you're looking for:

swlist -l bundle HPUX11i-OE

Hi Mridul,

# swlist | grep 'HPUX11'

HPUX11i-OE = Foundation
HPUX11i-OE-ENT = Enterprise
HPUX11i-OE-MC = Mission Critical
HPUX11i-MTOE = Minimum Technical
HPUX11i-TCOE = Technical Computing
