HP 80ex firmware update failure

Hello,

In updating the firmware on an 80ex library I experienced a failure. The result is an error code on the unit stating "Need Code" . The fix I found required enabling the override in the management utility. This override requires a factory reset code. Any ideas on how I can get this code?

Hi Joe,
I sent a temporary over-rides password to your email yesterday. Please let me know if you did not receive it or if you ran into any issues.

Thank you very much for the help, you saved the day!! The override worked like a charm and I was able to bring the system back on-line. The culprit turned out to be a blown cap on the Adaptec SCSI card. I guess during the initial firmware upgrade, the card failed.
