hp j4150a surestore CD tower upgrade

The application we use on this server (w/expansion)is migrating to DVD instead of a 6 CD set. Is enabling this CD Server to read a DVD as easy as purchasing a HP DVD drive and installing it in the Chassis? Will it automatically detect the Drive installed? I suspect so, as it uses the same firmware on the 4150 and 4152... Thank you in advance for any assistence rendered...
