Missing System Configuration Utility File

Hello,

I am using the System Configuration Utility on 4 floppy disks to add support for multiple processors in Windows 2000, and to open the Hardware Configuration option requires a file "!cpq1561.cfg" that is not found on any of the 4 disks. I have searched the net for this file but cannot find it.

Does anyone have this file that they could post please?

Thanks in advance,
-jim

That file should be on floppy disk 2 of the system configuration utility - at least it is on mine

Re: Missing System Configuration Utility File

I'm not certain if you can download that attachment - I can't - it opens in my browser as a text file. If you experience the same thing, try saving it as !cpq1561.cfg and see if that works. If not leave an email addy and I'll email it directly to you.

Re: Missing System Configuration Utility File

I was able to get the info, and saved it as !cpq1561.cfg. I have not tried it yet, but feel confident it will work. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. I will report back after I try it.

I still do not know why that file was not included in the 4 disk set created from the SCU I downloaded the same day.

Thank you again,
