Query: restore vvol VM from Express Protect

Hi,

I have RMC-V running.  vvol VMs are on Nimble array.  Copy policy create snapshots every 8 hours and 1 Express Protect once a day to Storeonce.

I am testing out restoing an Express Protect copy to parent storage/volume on Nimble to overwrite existing vvol.  Steps I tried:

1. power off the VM
2. from RMC-V, select an older copy of Express, click restore
3. restore started but failed with vvol has existing snapshots or access control records
4. so from RMC-V, deleted all its snapshots copies
5. repeated first 3 steps.  it failed again with same error.  see attached screenshot.

So what should I do to successfully do a restore?  Thanks.

@support_s is there a paricular procedure or solution you suggest from that document?  I looked and started at its page 121, the Restore to parent volume is basically what I tried to do.  But it failed as mentioned before.

Beside just a link to old version of the user guide, it will be helpful to provide a solution or suggestion.  Thanks.
