Locked out of Procurve 2620...
I have a Procurve 2920 that accidentally was configured with only 1 management IP address. Unfortunately, this one address is also set to Operator and not Manager.
Is there any way to get into the switch aside from the console cable? The switch currently in use and I have no easy way to get a machine close enough to plug in the console cable
Will I have to do a factory reset in order to get into the switch if I cannot get a machine close enough to use the console cable?

Re: Locked out of Procurve 2620...
Can you not plug a straight through cable into the console port and patch it over your installed UTP cable?

Re: Locked out of Procurve 2620...
maybe stupid question : did you save the config with the restricted operator IP ? Maybe a simple reload gets you back with full access to the device ?
