Hi ,
Recently there was an vapt done in our production setup , which has asked us to upgrade version of rpc.statd daemon .

Re: kill rpc.statd daemon hpux 11i v3
/sbin/init.d/nfs.client stop
/sbin/init.d/nfs.core stop
/sbin/init.d/nfs.server stop
Then confirm the daemon is running.
Thanks & Regards
