Monconfig x SAM EMS

Hi Guys!

Could somemone tell me the difference between the configuration created through monconfig and the configuration created through sam ems gui?
I created some monitoring request through SAM but when I enter monconfig and list the monitors configured, the ones I configured trhough SAM are not listed.
The same happens on SAM, that is, it doesn't show the monitors configured through monconfig.

Quickly ...
With monconfig, you monitor hardware resources.
And with SAM, you monitor 'software' resources.
