I'm doing that install right now. I should have results in two days.
It might be a 32 bit product which will impact its ability to take advantage of nice 64 bit performance.
One thing is sure. Follow each and every step in the pre-installation guide. I have two painful 11.00 installs behind me.
Also, get xvfb from software.hp.com
Oracle reports needs a working X Server to render graphics. No X server means painful error message, no reports and useless support from Oracle.
xvfb is a sort of server based, faux X Server that lets Oracle Reports run nicely.
I recommend your developers do their reports in pdf if you want any control of fonts at the user end.
