I am running Windows 2008 R2 (x64), I have both blank installs and upgrades from Windows 2008, but on neither of these can I get the SMH or VCA to work.
The VCA will always crasch while attempting to retrieve software and firmware inventory, and the SMH will timeout and not display any information (I suspect this is due to VCA problems?).
On the upgraded server the SMH and VCA was working fine before going to R2.
I am using the newest HP SSD bundle I could find, 8.25, is there any additional components or updates I require for Windows 2008 R2 ?

Re: What drivers and agents are required for Windows 2008 R2 ?
Great news anyway, thanks for the info. At least I'll know that it's not supposed to work, as opposed to just plain bugs :)
Do you happen to know anything about when 8.30 might be scheduled for release ?

Re: What drivers and agents are required for Windows 2008 R2 ?
Ok, now that 8.30 is released I can say they are indeed working on Windows server 2008 R2, however in our experience only if on a "clean" install.
Whenever upgrading from previous versions (8.15, 8.25) the SMH or Insight Agents will fail, and the SMH will only timeout and report no items.
