Re: rp7405 vs. rp7410
1. 7405 is a 'boxed unit' that comes configured for you. But the 7410 is more designed to your configuration, with expansion when you need up to the box maximum hardware.
2. 7405 max memory is 16gb. 7410 is 32gb max memory.
3. 7504 is preconfig. with a 650 mhz processor but the 7410 can be configured up to an 875 mhz processor.
And just a tip...I learned these quick facts by just looking around the HP Server specifications. Another feature HP has added...if you hang around there for a few minutes, a rep will chat-line with you (mine was Dennis) and answer any questions you might have !!

Re: rp7405 vs. rp7410
According to this page
https://www.e-solutions.hp.com/wow/wow3/WoWSystemSelectionServlet?action=selectModel&modelClass=Matterhorn
the major difference is the speed of the processor. They're both "up to 8 processors", "up to 32GB memory", and "up to 16 I/O slots", but the 7405 will only go up to a 650MHz PA-8700 processor, while the 7410 will go up to a 875MHz PA-8700 processor.

Re: rp7405 vs. rp7410
should be treated the same.
The basic and optional HW/SW vary not only between the 7405 and 7410 but also within each of these lines. For instance for the rp7405 there are 3 different flavors. The 7405 is upgradable in a lot of areas such as memory so the basic 650 mhz processors can run like the 7410 750mhz processors. rp7405 is PA-8700, the rp7410 can be PA-8700+.
The documentation is even generic for the machines at:
http://www.docs.hp.com/hpux/hw/index.html#rp7405/rp7410%20Server
If you speak to a sales rep they can outline the features that differ more easily.
