Is it possible to ISL Brocade 4/12 and Cisco MDS 9140 SAN Switches.
Please help as I have plugged the cable but it shows link failure at both ends.

Solution
khurram,
see note from cisco site :-
Interop Mode 2 ├в This mode, also known as legacy switch interop mode 2, allows seamless integration with specific Brocade switches running in their own native mode of operation. Brocade switches must be configured with "core pid = 0" to work with this mode.
MDS SAN-OS Release 1.2 or later is required
they seem to have tested with these brocade switches:-
Brocade 2400/2800 Version 2.6.x or later
├в ┬вBrocade 3200/3800 Version 3.0.2k or later
worth trying !
hope this helps
good luck
Brocade 2400/2800 Version 2.6.x or later
Brocade 3200/3800 Version 3.0.2k or later
