cifsmount //windowshost.domain.com/winshare /unixdir -U ntlogin -P ntpasswd -s -r

cifsmount is in /opt/cifclient/bin. You should already have cifsclient if yu have HP-UX 11i.

1. You will need to edit the WORKGROUP/DOMAIN directibe in the /etc/opt/cifsclient/cifsclient.cfg file.

2. You will need to set cifsclient to auto-start via the file /etc/rc.config.d/cifsclient

3. You will need to start cifsclient daemon via "/sbin/init.d/cifsclient start"

The above example cifsclient command will make the mount persist accross reboots via its being registered in the cifsclient database. If you do not want it in the database, you can also do persistent cifs mount via /etc/fstab. See cifsmount man page.
