Solutioncan You drop me a line at fheigl ...a...t... munichre.com?
otherwise:
what is /dev/dsk/c1t2d0?
am I guessing right in that vg00 has one disk c0t6d0, and (right now not) vg01 would be the two others c0t4d0 and c0t5d0?
in that case:
boot to lvm mainteanance mode (hpux -lm)
mkdir /dev/vg01
mknod /dev/vg01/group c 64 0x010000
vgimport -v /dev/vg01 /dev/dsk/c0t4d0 /dev/dsk/c0t5d0
vgchange -a r /dev/vg01 #-r just for testing, if it works use -a y
the missing tset and tabs programs make it appear that Your vg00 or /usr/bin is not completely.
is /usr being mounted?
