send email with annex

Friends necessary who are sent by email an attached archive alquem have some tip of as to make? I know that he saw sendmail not and possivel, only saw elm as?

You mention sendmail, but elm and mailx will do the attachment as well.
Attached is an in house doc we use for mailx.
Hope you find a suitable example.
