SG 11.18 - cluster lock disk

Hi all,

I am working with HPUX 11.23 and SG 11.18. I have configured 2 VG lock and 2 PV lock. I got this error:

cmdisklockd[13300]: Still trying to inquire cluster lock disk /dev/dsk/c18t0d2 Jun 7 12:31:14 rmih021 cmdisklockd[13300]: Still trying to inquire cluster lock disk /dev/dsk/c18t0d1 Jun 7 13:31:26 rmih021 cmdisklockd[13300]: Still trying to inquire cluster lock disk /dev/dsk/c18t0d1 Jun 7 14:07:48 rmih021 cmdisklockd[13300]: Still trying to inquire cluster lock disk /dev/dsk/c18t0d2

Do you have any suggestion ?

Yes, i have already check this. The "dd" command execute correctly and there is no HW error on disks.

Are you up-to-date on Serviceguard patches?

There's a fix in PHSS_39483 (now superseded by PHSS_40780) that matches these errors (see defect QXCR1000753242)

Incidentally why do you have 2 cluster lock disks? Is this a campus/stretch cluster? There vare some very specific rules around using 2 cluster lock disks - see p71 of the SG11.18 manual:
