I am trying to install ubuntu in a Hp Media Center PC 873n.. help

I'm not sure how to get the computer to book from pc.. but it goes straight to windows.

Does anyone know what key I can press so that it boots from cd? or so it goes to the screen where i can change those settings.

I would appreciate the help

Googleit with bios access, for example

perhaps F1 could permit you to access to the bios, look after to boot options.

On many system/laptops you need to press the key marked F12 just after powering up the system, But it is not always F12, sometimes it is an other key, this is why the previous answer pointed at reading the documentation that come with the system..
