HP Customized VMware ESXi images with Meltdown/Spectre fixes?
Anyone know a timeframe when new custom ISO images that have the VMware Meltdown/Spectre patches will be released? I see that VMware has released patches, but the 5.5 image also includes CPU microcode patches (and the DL 580 G7 isn't supposed to get BIOS updates for Meltdown/Spectre). I know I should only use HP custom ISOs, since they contain HP specific drivers.
Or can I just safely install the VMware supplied patches?
Thanks

This URL below contains an important updated statement that should be reviewed on this subject:

In regards to the custom build 5.5 ISO ; I don't think HPE will be updating that package any longer as it would be to old; you would have to patch that manually with VMware their bits would be my suggestion.
