Removing the Serial Number from discovered Enclosure System Name

Hi,

Does anyone know how we can remove the serial number from the System Name of enclosures? When we discover enclosures, their System Name will be discovered as <Enclosure Hostname>_<Enclosure Serial Number>. We would like the System Name to just be the <Enclosure Name>. Is there a way to do that?

If you discover the OS correct the agent should be able to read the serial. If the serial is discovered correct by SIm it will remove the serial server as it now knows which server has that serial. Then the OS with it's name or IP adres is available.

So if you have a servername that is of type unknown the credentials you entered for discovery are not correct.
