how 3par performs node failover in a 2-node system ?
Hi guys
Anyone knows how auto cutover operates when one of the nodes fail in a 2-node 8440 system?
How does the remaining node know that the partner node has failed ?
For example, in a NetApp 2-node system, each node are connecting to each other along with mailbox.
So if one node down, but the drives are fine, then the remaining node knows that the partner has down and performs a takeover

Two or four controller nodes: Tightly clustered, with a full-mesh controller backplane.
