Create Virtual Stack and then Trunk Ports in Virtual Stack to Core (HP 2530, Procurve 2910al)
We have 2 HP Procurve 2910al switches that are trunked together via the 10Ge Interconnects…we just purchased (3) HP 2530g switches (we will call swt 3, 4, and 5).
I want to “stack” the 2530 switches and also have 2 redundant fiber out of switch 3 and 5 back to switch 1 and 2 (the 2910al switches), so that if any of the switches was to fail, there was an alternate path…
I have made ports 23 and 24 on all switches to be members of trunk group "TRK2". Trk2 on all switches are tagged for that VLAN (s). The ports are enabled, but communication is not flowing.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
P.S. This thread has been moevd from Switches, Hubs, Modems (Legacy ITRC forum) to ProCurve / ProVision-Based. - Hp forum Moderator
