Telnet to ProCurve from Unix; wrong output
Hello,
I have got problem with proper display output when login from unix terminal. The problem is - when hit enter, then new line is not dispalyed, despite telnet packets with "new line" arrive.
Tests performed on many HP ProCurve - lets say ProCurve 2610 version R.11.107
Host is Debian 8.0 + Xfce
It looks like problem depends on type of used terminal:
1. Xfce-terminal - problem occure
2. Terminator v0.97 - problem occure
3. Gnome-terminal - it is OK.
4. xterm - it is OK
Below contents of packets with "new line":
Terminator:
#[70;0H#E#[70;1H#[70;22H#[70;1H#[2K#[70;1H#[?25h#[70;1H#[1;70r#[70;1H#[1;70r#[70;1H#[70;1H#[2K#[70;1H#[?25h#[70;1H#[70;1HProCurve-PROMPT# #[70;1H#[70;22H#[70;1H#[?25h#[70;22H
Gnome-terminal:
#[23;0H#E#[23;1H#[23;22H#[23;1H#[2K#[23;1H#[?25h#[23;1H#[1;23r#[23;1H#[1;23r#[23;1H#[23;1H#[2K#[23;1H#[?25h#[23;1H#[23;1HProCurve-PROMPT# #[23;1H#[23;22H#[23;1H#[?25h#[23;22H
Have you ever expirenced such problem? I have tests on either physical machin or VM and problem stayed. In putty is ok either windows or linux.
Thanks in advance
