RedHat 5.5 support with ProLiant Support Pack(PSP)
It looks we are waiting for a final, tested version of the PSP for the latest RedHat 5.5 release.
Vygantas had a customer issue:
*************************************************************************************************************
Customer is installing RedHat 5.5 on Bl460c server. After installation he tried to install PSP 8.40 and got error that some rpms doesn’t support kernel 2.6.18-194.el5 form RH 5.5.
Any dates when we support RedHat 5.5 with PSP ?

Michael provided an answer:

The RHEL 5.5 PSP won’t be available until the end of the month. It is currently in test. It is normal for a PSP to lag about 30 days after a new update is released from RedHat or Novell so that appropriate testing can be done on the final kernel to ensure proper quality for all RPMs.
