Can I enter a description/name for each port on a 4210 26ports?

I found a way to put in a "port alias" but I can't see it when I logged in

thru http... where to find? :) anyone?

Buddy, use the CLI console and enter the interface sub-command "description ENTER_DESCRIPTION_HERE". Through the web console you do not have access to a lot of features.



Script:



system-view

interface ethernet 1/0/N

description DESCRIPTION_HERE

save



You can access the switch through console cable, telnet or SSH.
