SSL certificate warning on Linux servers

Hi,

I got a message like this from 2 of our servers where apache is enabled.

How can i renew the SSL certificate ?

################# SSL Certificate Warning ################

Certificate for hostname 'Silver01', in file:
/etc/httpd/conf/ssl.crt/server.crt

The certificate needs to be renewed; this can be done
using the 'genkey' program.

Browsers will not be able to correctly connect to this
web site using SSL until the certificate is renewed.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Re: SSL certificate warning on Linux servers

Shalom,

This means your ssl certificate is about to expire.

Your certificatge will trigger warnings and nothing more if you permit it to expire.

The message is a little less than helpful though.

The process is pretty straightforward.
