backup Linux since HPUX

HI all!

I have one pc with linux Red Hat 6.1, and one server HP9000 class E with HPUX 10.20 and a tape DDS2
Can I backup my pc in the tape?

Sure you can Carlos.

You can enable the rsh or rexec access for the RedHat Linux Server so that the HP Server can back it up!

Us the cpio or Tar command between the systems to send the data to the Tape Drive.

You can use NFS and mount you linux box to the hp box for backup
