Whin I perform OOTB process,
the console show me a message
It is recommended that you upgrade the disks that have old firmware now.
Enter < C > to continue or < U > to upgrade ==>
Is anybody know that,
if I select U,
The controller Node will use the controller's bundle disk firmware to upgrade the disk?
Is the new controller firmware will also bundle the newest disk firmware?
Solved! Go to Solution.

Solution>The node will use the node's bundle disk firmware to upgrade the disk?
Of course.
>Is the new firmware will also bundle the newest disk firmware?
Well, newest as your 3PAR OS or patch you're installing.
You can also upgrade the PD firmware later with "upgradepd -a".
